Gog damn Karkat's dialogue is hard to come up with. He's a million times more creative at swearing than I will ever be. Why does he have to be my favourite character? *sobs* Also Sollux's lisp is aggravating. As a note I'm in the camp that says he wouldn't lisp 'sh' sounds, so I left those esses alone.

I wrote this in one frantic sitting (with a brief break for dinner), probably about five hours total. What is this fandom doing to me? Sadly there was no place for this one in my kink bingo card, and I already used the free space with the last fic.

This came from a request on Homesmut, I think, but I never saw the actual thread, just a mention of it on AO3 from another fic that had filled it. I liked the idea so I ran with it. ^_^

This has already been pretty thoroughly Joss'd by the latest update, but I started writing it knowing that would probably happen. That's the trouble with writing in fandoms that aren't done yet. Oh well, alternate timeline, I guess?

Sorry for the long stretch between posts, guys. I've been struggling with some health issues, and not writing much. I watched Princess Tutu while I was home and bored, and then this idea grabbed me and wouldn't let me write anything else until I finished it. Hopefully now I'll be able to get back to LRTD.

If you haven't seen it, Princess Tutu is pretty much a cross between Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, and Sailor Moon. It's a little childish, especially at first, but it sucks you in with the cuteness and then makes you fall for the characters. Hard. And I am totally going to cosplay it just because it gives me an excuse to finally make a tutu for myself instead of for other people, lol.

I triple-checked the rules, and G-rated stories are allowed. This isn't terribly erotic in and of itself, but someone could easily eroticise it if this is a kink they enjoy, so it counts. Never thought I'd write a non NC-17 kink bingo fic, but there are a couple of squares in my card this year that may end up this way.

If you've only seen the anime this may startle you. In the manga Sanada slaps Kirihara hard when he catches him tormenting people on the street courts. Possibly other times as well, but that's the one I've seen for myself. I get the impression corporal punishment is still a lot more common in Japan than in North America these days. On the other hand if you've only read the manga, the bit about the oni may not make much sense, as I understand that the Senbatsu training camp arc wasn't in the manga.
